About ProjectPoint
What is ProjectPoint?
ProjectPoint aimes to provide technical aspects of the SharePoint, EPM, Nintex and K2 space as well as the consulting aspects for these products.
There are tonnes of articles on how to code this and that and resolve this issue and that issue, but content around the actual consulting bits and pieces is rare, so hopefully I can bring some bits and pieces into my blogging as well.
So what can we expect?
Well, that is partially up to you too 
“Why?” you ask?
Because I want this blog to be interactive and I am open for suggestions, improvements, ideas, etc. So feel free to contact me via email or through the comments and help me improving the content as well as providing you with topics relevant to you and your job
Who am I?
My name is Patrick Hosch and I was born and raised in Austria where I studied IT at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, a small town about 45km south of my hometown, Vienna. After finishing my studies there and working for about a year I decided to see the world…or better to say Australia 
So I moved to Perth for 6 months to study a Certificate for Information Security and Intelligence at Edith Cowan University. Afterward I traveled the east coast with some friends and fell in love with the country even more .
With no money left it was time for me to move back to Austria to start working there. I took a job as a SharePoint consultant with mii ag, back then the leading Microsoft partner in Austria, where I worked for almost a year before taking a job offer from OBS, the leading SharePoint specialists in Australia. In my last role at OBS I was a Principal Consultant, leading a team of consultants and giving them both technical and professional guidance. During my stay at OBS is mainly worked in the Microsoft EPM and SharePoint space, also dealing a lot with Nintex Products, especially Nintex Workflow. In August 2012 I decided to move back to the motherland, or almost. I now work in Munich at PlanB. as a Solution Expert, focusing on training, no-code SharePoint solutions and business process management using SharePoint and 3rd party tools such as Nintex and K2.
I’ve now been working in the IT space in Europe and Australia for almost 7 years now. The past 6 years I’ve worked exclusively with Microsoft products. Before diving into the Microsoft arena, I worked as a freelancer for a research center in Europe, where my main areas were Voice over IP and IT security, for about a year and in various roles at a global TelCo before that.
